FAQs
Trying something new is always a mix of excitement and “wait… can I do this?”
Good news, you can. Let’s break it down and get you rolling.

your questions answered...
1. What are Strip Skates?
Strip Skates are dual-platform skates that ride sideways, like a skateboard or snowboard, and roll freely.
No boots, no bindings, no batteries, just step on and move.
Perfect for anyone who wants to move differently, try something new, and find their own rhythm.
2. Are they hard to learn?
Most people can learn to balance within a few minutes.
Like anything worth doing, it may take a few tries, but that’s part of the fun. Learning, improving, and realizing you can do it is what makes it click.
We’ve also got quick how-to videos and tutorials on our social channels to help you find your flow even faster.
3. How do you stop?
Strip Skates are one of the easiest ways to start and stop. Step on to roll, step off to stop.
To slow down, just drop your heel or toe. And when you’re done, simply step or hop off, since you’re never connected, you land right on your feet.
Honestly, part of the fun is jumping on and off as you learn to flow.
4. Do I have to wear special shoes?
Nope, no special shoes needed. Just wear your normal athletic shoes.
Flat-bottom shoes and general sneakers work best for balance and control. We recommend avoiding flip-flops or open-toe shoes, even though they can technically work.
Strip Skates are designed to work with a wide range of footwear, including sneakers, boots, and even Crocs.
5. Are they safe?
Yes, Strip Skates are built for stability and control.
The wide wheels and solid base make balancing easier, and since you’re never connected or strapped in, you can step or jump off whenever you need. You’re always in control of the ride.
Stick to open, smooth spaces and ride safe as you get the feel for it.
6. Can kids use them?
Yes. Strip Skates are great for kids, teens, and adults.
Kids often pick it up the fastest. They’re a great fit for ages 6 and up and help build coordination, balance, confidence, and overall athleticism.
It’s also a fun way to get outside, move your body, and take a break from screens. Something different, something active, something they can enjoy on their own or with friends.
